Job description
Intake Manager Responsibilities:
The essential functions/duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- ·Responsible for administrative management of branch program in a specific area: Behavioral Health Intake
- · Knowledgeable of BH program and process in order to educate referrals and families
- ·Intake of new referrals
- ·Obtain and review all related documents from new families
- ·Verify insurance coverage and share with families
- ·Verify eligibility coverage of all cases during the first and second business day of the month
- ·Submit authorization to insurance for Initial Assessment
- ·Communicate with BCBAs on new case Initial Assessments and due dates
- ·Build relationships with Insurance contacts and outside referral sources
- ·Serve as primary liaison with referral sources for maintenance and new business development.
- ·Coordinate with Program Manager and Recruiter to ensure flow between new hires and new cases
- ·Coordinate with Program Manager on upkeep with provider appointments
- ·Coordinate with Program Manager on Reassessments
- ·Attend meetings and participates in projects, as required
- ·Attend weekly team meetings
- ·Any additional duties assigned by the director
- ·Should be highly motivated and have strong interpersonal skills
- ·Knowledge of insurance
- ·Must be organized and detail oriented
- ·Strong computer and reporting skills
- ·Ability to multi-task
- ·Strong initiative and team oriented
- ·Strategic and organizational thinking
- -Submit Initial Assessments for authorization approval
- -Input new families into TotalABA platforms
- -Accomplish monthly targeted objectives to meet branch financial goals

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
· B.A. preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, telephone, computer) Ability to lift up to 5 pounds
· Ability to sit for extended periods of time
